In 1986, drawn by a deep admiration for the rich natural environment, I relocated to Amami from the city. Since then, I have spent over 30 years as a junior high school mathematics teacher, walking alongside the island's children.
Currently, as a nature conservation patrol officer, I work to protect the precious endangered species and beautiful flora and fauna of the Amami World Heritage site. Drawing on my background as a teacher, I provide clear, thoughtful, and highly engaging guiding to introduce you to the ultimate treasures of Amami!

Taking lively daily walks with my dearly loved rescue dogs Happy, Lucky, and my precious companion Jockey-chan, whom I rescued after finding her injured 🐾
Also, wandering through the mountains and fields of Amami at my own pace, thoroughly observing our lovely native plants.
